NWS storm survey found that an EF1 tornado that began just southeast of Blacksburg in Cherokee County crossed into York County in Kings Mountain National Military Park crossing Piedmont Rd and Park Rd before moving out of the park in the area around Highway 161 N and Whitworth Rd.
