Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Everyone who needs a roof should be able to use this site. Here is what we aim for, what we have actually checked, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

What we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming to have been audited against them by a third party, because we have not been. What follows is what we have checked ourselves, and we would rather tell you that plainly than display a badge that suggests more than we have done.

What we have checked

Verified across the home page, city pages and the contact page on 10 September 2026:

  • Every form field has a programmatic label, so a screen reader announces what it is asking for.
  • Every page declares its language, and has exactly one main heading.
  • A "skip to main content" link is the first thing keyboard users reach.
  • Every button has an accessible name.
  • The site works without images: it is built almost entirely from text and CSS, so nothing essential is carried in a picture that a screen reader cannot read.
  • Pages reflow to a phone-sized screen without horizontal scrolling.
  • Messages that appear after you act — for example, when we tell you your ZIP code is outside a market we cover — are announced to assistive technology rather than appearing silently.

What we know is not right yet

Heading order on the home page. One section jumps a heading level, which makes the page outline harder to navigate by headings. It is on our list.

Wide comparison tables. On a narrow screen, one table on the home page scrolls sideways within its own box. It is reachable, but the scrolling is easy to miss.

This list is what we currently know about. It is not a claim that nothing else is wrong — it is a claim about what we have found so far, and we will add to it as we learn more.

Telling us about a barrier

If something on this site stopped you from doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it, and we would rather hear about it in whatever way is easiest for you. Use the form on our contact page. If you can, tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead — and what you are using, such as a screen reader or keyboard only, if you are comfortable saying.

We read every message. If a barrier stops you from reaching a roofing contractor through this site, tell us and we will help you get to one directly while we fix it.

How this page will change

We will update this statement as we fix what is listed above and as we check more of the site. The date at the top is the last time anything on this page changed.
