3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Match your request with a single local roofing contractor
• Share your contact information with that one contractor so they can reach you

4. How We Share Your Information

With the assigned contractor: When you submit a lead request, your name, phone, email, city, and project description are shared with exactly one local roofing contractor. This contractor is the only party who receives your contact details from your specific request.

We do NOT:

• Sell your information to third-party marketing companies or data brokers
• Share your data with multiple contractors simultaneously
• Use your data for unrelated advertising purposes

Service providers: We use third-party services to operate our platform, including Stripe (payment processing), hosting providers, and analytics tools. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of PickARoofer, our users, or the public.

5. SMS and Telephone Communications

By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive phone calls and, if applicable, text messages from the assigned roofing contractor regarding your service request. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP.

PickARoofer may also contact you by phone or text to confirm your request or follow up on service quality. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations. Lead records are retained for up to 3 years for business and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
